Amerigroup is a New York Managed Care Organization (MCO). Amerigroup helps you manage your health care benefits if you

• have high medical bills
• receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
• meet certain income, resource, age or disability requirements

With Amerigroup, you get the New York Medicaid benefits you need. You get a doctor’s care and hospital care. We help answer your questions and guide you through the system.

• a 24-hour Nurse HelpLine to answer health questions
• Member Services to help you with your benefits
• Taking Care Of Baby And Me®, a special care program for pregnant women
