Amerivantage plans are offered through Amerigroup. We are contracted by the Federal government to bring you even more benefits than you can get from Original Medicare. Lower copays, pharmacy and medical coverage, advice from nurses, and many other important health benefits are yours from one company — all with a $0 monthly plan premium.

What you think about our plan matters to us. If there’s anything you particularly like or dislike about our services, or you have questions and need help with your health plan or pharmacy benefits, please call Member Services toll free at 1-866-805-4589 (TTY 711). You may also file a complaint with our plan by calling the same Member Services number. If you feel you have exhausted all options with us, you may submit a Medicare complaint form.

Amerigroup is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Amerigroup depends on contract renewal.

We serve over 2.5 million members nationwide, offering Medicaid programs in 13 states and Medicare programs in 9 states.

Amerigroup accepts all eligible people regardless of age, sex, race or disability.

Our offerings don’t utilize any individual underwriting or deny coverage due to pre-existing medical conditions. We’re dedicated to offering real solutions that improve health care access and quality for our members while proactively working to reduce the overall cost of care to taxpayers.

  1. Enroll over the telephone —  If you’d like to speak to one of our expert licensed sales representatives to enroll over the phone, call 1-888-873-0131 (TTY 711) between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. local time, 7 days a week.

  2. Set up an appointment — Would you rather have someone visit you in person and describe our plans? Call 1-888-873-0131 (TTY 711) or arrange a personal, in-home sales presentation at your convenience.

  3. Medicare beneficiaries may also enroll in Amerivantage through the Medicare Plan Finder located at http://www.medicare.gov.

You may enroll in the plan only during certain times of the year. Contact Amerigroup for more information. You must use plan providers except in emergency or urgent care situations or for out-of-area renal dialysis or other services. If you obtain routine care from out-of-network providers, neither Medicare nor Amerigroup will be responsible for the costs. Amerigroup is a culturally diverse company. We welcome all eligible individuals into our health care programs, regardless of health status. If you have questions or concerns, please call 1-800-374-3631 (TTY 711) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday and ask for extension 34925.
